Laboratory parameters can be used to differentiate renal infarction and urolithiasis in patients who are admitted to the emergency department with flank pain

Abstract
 Aim
 We aimed to determine the predictive value of laboratory parameters for distinction between urolithiasis (UL) and renal infarction (RI) in patients presenting emergency department with flank pain complaint.
 Methods
 In our retrospective study, files 73 who presented (ED) whose costovertebral angle tenderness was positive were reviewed. Routine blood tests results contrast-enhanced abdominal computed tomography obtained. The divided into two groups as RI UL according tomography. Accordingly, 8 found have RI, 65 had UL.
